Sidecar with Delord Bas Armagnac 1985
A Sidecar is often made with equal parts brandy, Cointreau and lemon juice around 30 mils. But vary the proportions with consideration to the quality of the Cognac or Armagnac you are using in your cocktail. A delicious Sidecar can be made with fairly ordinary brandy but a bit more Cointreau.
45 mls Armagnac
20 mls Cointreau
20 mls Lemon Juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice, shake hard and double strain over a solid ice cube in sugar rimmed glasses and lemon garnish.
